Raw material required are moulds, vegetable ghee, cotton wick, packing material and essence.

Firstly, melt the vegetable ghee in a pan. The ghee used is different from the one you can make at your house as this is chemically processed to last longer and have better results. This is available in Samarth Enterprises.

After the ghee has completely melted, fill up the moulds. Then put the cotton wick in the moulds. It takes approximately 5 minutes for it to completely dry. It will easily come out of mould, after drying. Then, it must be packaged in a plastic container. You can either make packs of 25 or 50, depending on the sale. After this procedure, diya batti is ready to be sold in the market.

The market for this is vast. It is used in mandirs for arti, or any place of worship. This is easy to use and requires less preparation.
